Eight people traveling home from a burial in Kisii perished and four others were injured in a grisly road accident at Mafuta Taa area in Naivasha along Narok-Maai Mahiu road.
The around 3am Saturday accident involved a minibus that were traveling in and a lorry ferrying sand.
Eye witnesses say the public service vehicle swerved off the road colliding head on with the oncoming lorry.
The injured were rushed to Naivasha Sub-County hospital.
