President William Ruto has appointed former Isiolo Woman representative Rehema Jaldesa as Chief Administrative Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage.
Ms Jaldesa is among 50 nominees appointed to various ministries as Dr Ruto formally finalizes the formation of executive, exactly six months after he assumed office.
Majority of the appointees are politicians who unsuccessfully vied under the Kenya Kwanza coalition as well as defectors from the Azimio la Umoja Coalition.
Other nominees are former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero (Ministry of Inestments, Trade and Industry), ex-KNUT Secretary General Wilson Sossion(Tourism), Bishop Margaret Wanjiru (Ministry of Co-Operatives and Micro, Small, Medium enterprises Development) and Millicent Omanga (Interior and National Administration).
The names have been forwarded to the National Assembly for approval.
