Ada Labs Africa has partnered with the Family Bank in five-month-training program for 100 youths across the country on software development, animation and data science among other ICT courses aimed at equipping them with skills requisite for employment.

The Sh5 million Scholarship program also seeks to transform youths talents into employable skills for self-reliance.

Ada Labs CEO John Kamara said the program’s aim is to catalyze the technology revolution in Africa and equip youths with skills that will add value to the digital economy.

“Our focus is to fill the skills and employment gaps in different sectors, offer capacity building platforms to equip our youth with various skills as we grow wealth creation opportunities and build sustainable communities,” the Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Rebecca Mbithi said.
