Police in Suna East, Migori County are holding a form two student who reportedly murdered a class six girl.

The suspect, reports indicate, killed the girl when she visited him at their home on Tuesday before her body was discovered today morning with severe injuries on the head.

After committing the heinous act, the suspect fled to a relative’s home where he was flushed out by sleuths.

An area administrator who did not want to be named said police officers frog-jumped the minor into their station.

Investigations have been launched to establish the motive of the murder while the body of the deceased was taken to Migori County Referral Hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.
