Police in Nairobi are holding four of their colleagues who allegedly arrested two suspects without authorization from their station commander.
Reports indicate that Constables Esther Oburo, Winfred Kanana, Dorcus Nzilani and Henry Temba from Kamukunji police station were in company of two civilians when they arrested the suspects over allegations of possessing nylon papers.
The two civilians, police say, were masquerading as officials from the Kenya Revenue Authority and National Environment Management Authority.
The six are in custody awaiting arraignment upon completion of the ongoing investigation.
