Isiolo Governor Abdi Ibrahim Hassan Guyo has appointed a selection panel to pick replacement for two members of the County Public Service Board who resigned last year to vie for various elective seats.
The members who resigned include Lucy Mworia and Abdi Wario who unsuccessfully contested for Isiolo North MP seat in August elections with the latter, an advisor to the Governor.
The list of five which was Monday unanimously approved by the County Assembly has Finance Chief officer Peter Ngechu, Florence Kainda Nthiga, Sumeya Mohammed and Linus Thuranira Gichunge as members and cleric Sheikh Hassan Bonaya as the panel’s Chairperson.
The MCAs while approving the list maintained that the new members who will be picked must ensure transparency in recruitment in the cosmopolitan county.
