Police in Kisii have arrested man seen in a trending video clip assaulting a woman during Deputy President William Ruto’s political rally.
Mr Joash Atemba Nyagate has been detained and is assisting police in ongoing investigations and will be arraigned after completion of probe, the National Police Service said.
Kenyans have been advised to exercise restraint and accommodate divergence of opinion during the electioneering period to mitigate on instances of lawlessness and breach of the peace.
