A youthful man from Kibung’a market in Turima location, Tharaka constituency has hacked to death his divorced wife lover.
Confirming the horrible Wednesday 3am incident, Turima location chief, Mr Nkabu Iguna said killer, Mr Musyimi Kimanya hacked Mr Naftaly Mutiiria several times and also injured the estranged wife, Ms Fridah Makumbi.
The chief said the criminal who is being hunted by police stormed the deceased who comes from Nkondi area while sleeping with the woman in a house at the latter’s home on the suburbs of Kibung’a market.
“The suspect was married to the woman and have two children according to the villagers but they departed about five years ago,” said Mr Iguna.
The chief said Mutiiria was rushed at Kibung’a Sub County Hospital and later recorded statement with police.
Ms Muthoni Mwithi, a deceased cousin and a businesswoman at the market said when she rushed at the scene upon receiving the information, she found the deceased lying on a pool of blood while unconscious and she rushed him to the hospital.
Mr Mukathe Njeru, bother to the deceased urged the police to make sure that they arrest and prosecute the killer.
