Police in Transmara West, Narok have launched a manhunt for a Tanzanian citizen who reportedly stabbed a colleague at Got Kabong gold mine following a dispute over food.

Reports indicate Mungare Busene, 27, was taking ugali with another man (also Tanzanian) after a long day at the mining site around 8PM Thursday night when an argument ensued.

The irate Busene would pick a kitchen knife and stab the colleague in the leg before fleeing to escape arrest.

The victim was pronounced dead at Lolgorian Level Four Hospital where he had been rushed with serious injuries.

County Police Commander Kizito Mutoro said the suspect was being sought as investigations continue.
