A principal in Embu is on the spot over the disappearance of a Form Four candidate over an indiscipline case.

The Kirigi Secondary student only identified as Kimotho had reportedly been tied up with a rope by the principal over an offence at the school but untied himself and ran away.

His family that has already recorded statement at Manyatta police station has demanded action against the principal.

They have appealed to the government to intervene and help them trace the boy who they fear might miss KCSE exams that are starting tomorrow (Friday).
