Two Meru University of Science and Technology students have been arraigned over allegations of gang-raping a seven-year-old minor.
Reports indicate that the minor was returning home from school on January 10 at around 4pm when she met Mr Francis Chepkosi and Brian Munjalu standing outside their house in Nkomo location, Tigania West in Meru County.
Mr Chepkosi asked her inside the house and the two asked to know what she had learnt that in school that day.
The two then ordered her to undress and on refusing they forcefully undressed her before defiling her in turns.
Tigania Principal Magistrate Faith Munyi ordered the two to be remanded pending hearing of their bond application on January 17.
