Tharaka Nithi Governor Muthomi Njuki is set to issue the State of the County Address this morning at the county assembly chambers in Kathwana.
Governor Njuki is expected to state the status of the county and give a synopsis of his development plans for 2021.
The key address comes amid the devastating Covid-19 pandemic and Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) campaigns that seek to amend the 2010 Constitution.
Njuki will have a task of addressing the two current critical issues in the country alongside his development agenda.
Residents are expecting the governor to address the deplorable state of the roads which have turned an impediment to development in most parts of the county.
The governor is also anticipated to outline soul-winning projects for 2021 considering that it will be the year to determine his score-card ahead of the 2022 election campaign.
The county boss recently launched a rigorous exercise of physically inspecting projects across the 15 wards in order to make sure that they are completed by 2022.
The Press Point will be publishing the whole County State Address.
